De Tango Rear D3 lights?
Hi All,
I and many have De Tango'd my headlights but has anyone tried to De Tango the rear D3 ones?
I'm not sure I like the D4 ones and think the original ones without the Orange might be the shot.2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

I have the same feeling. But the fact that nobody did it since 2005 tells me it probably can't be done.
If I got a spare/damaged light I would have a go at ripping it open to confirm.Dennis

Surely the "tango" on the rears is part of the light lens, not an internal part like the front?Altox GSM FBH controller thread

If the orange diffuser lens is a separate bit it is probably not screwed on like the front lights, but bonded on with the strongest glue known to man so removing it will probably be impossible without breaking the lightDennis

The lens is coloured red/orange/clear for the respective parts of the light unit.
If you take the lens off, there will be no colours behind it.
Though, if you do get it off, the orange part can be cut out, and a clear piece of plastic glued into place My D3 Build Thread
