Now I know that Stratstones sometimes come in for a bit of a bashing on the forum but I have to speak as I find.

I haven't typically used main dealers for servicing in the past but when I purchased the D4 (from Stratstone Solihull) I got the next two services free thrown in with the deal.

Anyway, D4 went in on Wednesday and in my view the service was exemplary. There were two additional issues (admittedly relatively minor) that I asked to be looked at and both were done and resolved with no charge, which really was a pleasant surprise.

I needed to pick up a couple of parts whist I was there and as soon as the parts guys realised that I had just been in for a service resulted in a 10% discount without me asking on the items I needed.

Car was also very thoroughly cleaned inside and out so overall I was very pleased.

I have found them always very good TBH.

Dave in parts always gives me 10% discount. They do have some good techs and service staff. Mark.

I think it depends on which branch of Stratstones you go to as well, and if your face fits. Plenty speak highly of the one in Bury, personally I wouldn't take a matchbox car to them to look at Shocked
