My coachman (former Les ) is one big lump and with the now fitted on board water tank etc is a heavy weight and without a 4 wheel system is pointless on a twin axles job.
Remember it will not turn on the spot like a single axle though and will need to get use to when cornering as the axles pivots get massive stressing when turning, so a bit then straight them a bit more
I got enduro sets under grand and fit and wire yourself.
Hi All
I have just bought a bailey single axle senator. Its fitted with purpleline movers.
There available from them direct for DIY or via dealers.
Works very well on my sloping drive. Single axle setup is 600 to 700 pounds.
extra motors can be installed on the controller for twin axle.
hope this helps
regards
Bob

Driving all 4 wheels is best but take note that on a lot of caravans fitting movers on all 4 wheels means that you might have to move or remove the spare wheel carrier.Dale

My new Swift Conqueror 645 arrived after a ten week wait and the Powrtouch AWD system was excellent getting it in my back garden. The stresses are obvious and you need to straighten up and then turn and repeat so as not to tear the tyres off the rims (Slight exaggeration) but made light work of what could have been a nightmare.
