Is it possible to get say a new black leather seat cover to a D3 driver seat and a new seat pad  ...
I understand you can swap with the passenger seat ( I think ) just trying to save on costs ....
....as if the base and cover can be ordered surely thats cheaper .... 
Thoughts on wether its possible ....Thanks

Foam base is about £30 - if its heated then you can in theory remove the old element and restick to the new pad - but I changed the lot. The heated bit is about £80 ISTR.
You can change left and right seats over, but I think there is a switch in the passenger one that detects when you sit on it?
You can get new leather as well, but I've no idea of costs. Mark.

Try ringing Geoff at Atlantech
They make seats from scratch and the leather that they use for the rear seats is pretty good so i am fairly confident that they could do something to suit.. D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY
D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)
D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)
Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

had our 59 plate converted from clothe to leather 1300 quid for 5 seats...didnt bother with 6and 7 seats.the cloth covers only done 5000 miles and they ditched um to my sirprise,
think they did the leather by buying in pre made kit

I bought all the covers from TLO, not cheap but OEM All seat base covers and backs are available individually.
