I think it's an excellent idea, and TFC's comment about too many banners / pop ups etc VERY valid
How may pop ups you seen on here then DaveT ?
The banners are as unobtrusive as they could possibly be

Simon, No popups here - as opposed to other sites
Ie - IMO this site has unobtrusive advertising, we all know where it is, and how to go to the Sponsors section, so it works, without being a pain in the butt. I tend not to spend much time on sites that have too many ads or popups
(praps I worded the post the wrong way round )
TFC, Originally Civil Engineering, specialising in pipelines, now more like commercial management of Utilities Facilities Management / R&M - not a lot of M&E, but I know a man who does!
DaveLong succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

FWIW, I think that if you want to make SME contacts - go join the local Round Table et al or get into the Amway thing The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
