Never had a problem with them. Especially useful/fun in the twisty bits of road. You'll get used to them Smile

Best,

PS Dunc, I can tell the difference between the paddle and the lights Wink Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

But can you tell the difference between the indicators, accelator and brake?... Yours is well busy!!! Bow down

If you really want to confuse things, fold both accelerator pedals up - That usually confuses people. Ive caught it a couple of times then gone for the pedal and it wasn't there! Thats when the hand control is very "handy" .... See what i did there? Rolling with laughter

unsure about the cap thing...if you dont have the paddles how do you get manual control of the box...
as for off road if your concentration where your going the last thing you should be looking at is the steering for the paddle...in the dark its inpossible to see which way up the wheel is
great on the road though

If you don't have the paddles then you can still use the paddles in Sport to gain manual control of the box. Being aware of the rate of turn and position of the wheel should be second nature in everyones driving. Most people do it without thinking. If you're looking at the wheel to locate the paddles instead of where your want to go then you're doing it wrong! LOL Nothing wrong with a quick glance at the appropriate moment, just like a mirror check maybe or checking your speed for example.

think there is some confusion here between d4 rotary shift and one with gear lever..or did they do one
with gear lever and paddle shift..

No confusion. The rotary shift has the paddles the earlier lever shift didn't.
