Coolant Leak

I have a coolant leak under the engine plastic cover, can this be fixed by a DIY?

Have you got any idea where the coolant is comming from ? And please don't say radiator ?

How much have you got in the expansion tank ? Is it pishing out or is there a few drops of pink fluid underneath ?
First you need to find out if its left hand side, right hand side, top or bottom ?
Then if its the expansion tank cracked, hose perforated or clip that's loose ?

Finding a leak is a right royal pain but the easy bit is its wet and pink ?

And yes it can be fixed,

Now I've read it again, it says engine plastic cover Embarassed

It can still be fixed but I don't know what it is ! It could possibly be EGR cooler ?

Or one of the pipes from rad that carries the fluid to and from the the engine and radiator

The plastic water "manifold" right at the front of the engine is a prime suspect, especially in warmer climates Thumbs Up

yes its the plastic water manifold looks like an elbow, my temperature over shot yesterday, is there a procedure of taking it off and replace it, its right under a lot other connectors and covers on top of the engine.

Take off the throttle housing, release hoses, undo 4 bolts and lift off Thumbs Up

Although the one in your pic is from a Jag, and not suitable for the LR models
