Beanie I've dented my steering wheel badge being to heavy handed with it!
The bottom lug on the badge is in a different place compared to the green one I removed. So I was trying to make it pierce the steering wheel (i.e. create a new locating hole) which obviously wasn't going to work and resulted in me denting the front of the new badge...
Obviously I'm going to have to buy another from you, but has anyone else had trouble fitting a new one, or has any tips?It's better to burn out, than fade away...

Most have trimmed the lugs off as they appear to not be in the right place for all and relied on the adhesive that's already fitted Altox GSM FBH controller thread

The (well, at least my) old badge had four prongs, and the new one has three. The two on the same side aren't in the same place so they don't go into the same holes. An answer may be to CAREFULLY drill small holes into the face of the badge roughly where the lugs are, so you can lever out with a small terminal screwdriver. You would have to use a battery drill on a very slow speed so you can instantly stop as soon as the bit breaks through the metal.
Worth doing.

Cheers Beanie - got mine no problem. I now have a full set of badges for the whole car and wheels to replace, getting rid of the original green ones and replacing all with the black and silver. What odd's will people give me on SWMBO not noticing?!Cheers,
