Hi all , About 4 weeks after blanking the EGR on my 2007 January build disco TD6 I did a check with my code reader and a fault was logged saying EXCESS EGR FLOW , no other faults or problems evident and driven every day probably 1000Ks total .
Is this OK to ignore or will it become a problem in the future as I believe 2007 onwards can not be blanked , just thought I would try blanking and see what happens as it is January 2007 build car , Thanks 4 any info .

BUMP, also no alarms of any kind , bing bongs etc . just a fault message stored in the ecu under Engine management . Will it detonate or just be nice to me .

It will not detonate - but it will be annoying - occasionally the ECU might put you into some Limp-home mode.
This should solve your issue:
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic107766.html 2013 D4 TDV6 S; Baltic Blue; IID Tool BT
2007 D3 TDV6 SE, Auto; club Faultmate MSV2
