VIN location (proof of earlier 'Search@ provided!)
HI there. Looking at a second hand D4 a the weekend. Private sale so wouldn't mind checking the VIN. I found the following on the site which sounds cool, but can someone please help me with a description of the location of the physical stickers or stampings on a D4?

"On a D4 you can view the VIN electronically on the dash display without a code reader. Press the OK button on the right hand side of the steering wheel then use the down button to scroll down to Service Menu and press OK again then highlight VIN Display and hit OK again and it will show the VIN"

You can also view it at the bottom of the windscreen on the N/S about where the wipers come to rest Cheers Ian
