Bong and all the lights

Hello All,

Getting a bong and all the lights such as when brake bulb fails but no bulb failure. Doesn't seem to have any pattern other than roughly happening once a week. Just plugged the fault code reader in and it indicated rear right ride height sensor voltage out of threshold -intermittent or something like that.

Does this seem the likely culprit and need replacing? Will rear right be offside or near side?

Thanks in advance

Div

Well it needs fixing so see how it is once the height sensor is changed. Simple job if you have a suitable diagnostic tool to calibrate the new one.

Thanks for the reply Robbie. Just looking - seems a fairly straight forward job but only got an FCR so it's a trip to the stealers me thinks

Perhaps a time to buy an IID Tool or Nanocom?

If you can use a telephone you can use an IID Tool.

Thumbs Up

Or if you can wait that long, talk to Bodsy and get to the Midlands meet - I'm sure he will be able to sort you out with one or other of his tools.

I do know that someone on D3C changed there height sensor and it didn't need calibrating. Depends on how close to tolerance the original is to the replacement.

Thanks for the replies guys. Just been lookin at a technical document which shows the sensor connected to the upper control arm. Being as I had this replaced just before the problems started could it be that it just needs recalibrating and it's not faulty?

Don't assume that just because the brake light is working it won't cause the lights to come on. Mine have worked and the lights came on quick change of bulbs fixed it
