Air Con Pulley/ Fitting repair kit
Has anybody you got any recommendation for where to get a spanner that fits the air con pulley spindle? I need to fit the repair kit as I've got a noisy bearing.....I've tried with the metric spanners I've got but no joy.......Happy to buy the right kit but damned if I know where to get the exact fit spanner from...
I've got the 'oil filter' strap type wrench, so that's covered just the spanner for the spindle I'm struggling with
According to LR I need a new Air Con Pump as 'the whole unit has failed'.....odd when I had air con running before I dropped it off to you......OK so the bearing was noisy, but everything worked.......so I'll decline on the kind offer of £864 for a new air con pump for the time being thank you!

Lol, I can't remember off the top of my head and it's currently in Williams LR having belts and oil pump done so can't check. I've a feeling that 7mm is just too big, just enough slack to round the damn thing

Knipex pliers wrench.
The flexibility of an adjustable spanner but no rounding or marking.
They are in Robbie's toolbox.

They look like a grand idea but I fear there isn't room down there on an MY08 to hold them closed and/or get enough leverage........ It really is F tight

I'm sure it was that size AF i used for mine. Really needs to be the right spanner as it's very tight. An adjustable you just wouldn't get to be as tight as it needs to be.
Remember, really you need to just hold the spindle in place, whilst you effectively turn the pulley rather than the other way round. Bodsys Brake Bible
