V8 Limp Mode

Good day,

V8 goes into limp mode ("Reduced Engine Performance") when going over +-4,000 rpm. Strangely only when the vehicle is moving, not simply revving when standing still. Have replace the following: spark plugs, gearbox filter & oil, fuel tank units, cam sensor, breather valve, brake switch at pedal. No fault codes present! Even took it to the stealers, nothing...

Any ideas welcome!
Thanks

Have you checked your MAF sensor?
Alternatively the throttle bodies can get gunked up with rubbish, try giving that a clean... If it looks bad might need replacing...

Cheers

Changing the spark plugs must have been fun Etienne? Unplug the MAF sensor and see if the same happens! Call Peter street @ Landyworx in Randburg he might have more suggestions!
A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

What readings did you get off the MAF Sensor?
