door mirrors on a d3 se
hi any body help me my d3 door mirrors keep folding in when driving is their any way to adjust them my d3 is 2005 se thanks

Could be an iffy switch... If you move the selector switch right or left does it still fold by itself?

hi no I find switch only moves the glass in the mirror not the hole unit

Is it like this:
bear in mind the image is in a different orientation to that normal viewed from the drivers seat
As well as the switch acting like a joystick (up down left right) it has a rotary selector to select LEFT, RIGHT and NONE (the mid position) when in the mid position (NONE) it can be pulled down to make the mirrors fold in and fold out.
My thoughts are your switch is a bit sloppy and bounced around it is making contact. With the switch retained in the LEFT or RIGHT position it shouldn't fold the mirrors in.
