Non starting Disco..update starts but still with errors

Hi all,

Although not a prolific poster, I regularly visit this brilliant forum. Thumbs Up

I have a 2005 HSE tdv6
The Disco does not get much use,so I suspect the battery is to blame.
I have the following faults showing.
Transmission fault limited gears available... park brake fault... HDC fault system not available..an E in the current gear LCD and then turn the key and nothing at all!
Metered the battery and had 12.2v, left on charge overnight and measured 12.6v, although this was tested without load. I have also checked for any water ingress and all is bone dry Still the same..
Does anybody have any other thoughts before I get a new battery.
Mark Thumbs Up
P.S Not sure if the battery is original.
PPS. Also tried jump leads and hard reset.

You are star Engebo Thumbs Up
Part one complete...engine now starts!!!!

Part two is to get rid of errors which are still showing, and I am unable to take out of park.
I also have an amber park light on.
My thinking now is the brake switch.

What other areas to look at? I will have to look on Saturday as it is getting late and cold.
