Is it possible to convert the EPB to a manual handbrake  , there seems to be enough space on the centre console for a manual handbrake to be placed where the EPB switch sits, has anyone done the conversion or is it not possible  William

Thanks Mike, but given the amount of posts about the EPB on here I would have thought it was a real pain for the people who have recurring problems with EPB even when serviced. I have had my D3 for 3 months, just turned 6 years old, low mileage (49000 when purchased) full LR service history, yet 2 days after owning the car, EPB started playing up, now it is totally non functional. I dont have the facilities or the knowledge to even try a repair and dont have the time to do a 200 mile round trip to my nearest LR stealer to be ripped off. I just thought that if there was a way to convert the EPB to a manual handbrake it could be worth thinking about  William
