Looks great 8)
With reference to the screen and having to click it every time, if you don't click it does it just go away by itself? As on the MY2012 Sat Nav screen when you switch to sat nav the agree button comes up but if you just leave it disappears by itself after about 10 seconds.Cheers Ian

Very nice indeed!
You're lucky to get one so soon- I've had an order in since September and am the dealerships first delivery (apparently !!) and won't be seeing it until 26th February
Good to hear that you're happy with it, especially coming from a sport...

Thanks
The mirror lights are cool, I'll post a pic in a bit.
I've not left The screen disclaimer long enough to know...I'll see tomorrow and feedback.Mike

Did you find out what's going on with the mood lighting?
Does say Inc on the brochure but then again I seem to have 2 versions as in one the lux does Inc adaptive lights but the other it does! Lr are pretty poor when it comes to published info as Web site is still showing dual view screen on luxXC90 T8 R Design Pro

What do you define as 'Mood' lighting? My 2013 D4 HSE Lux has led lighting in all the recesses in the car, such as door bins, door handles, etc. You can't change the colour.
It also has bright led lights under the mirrors which light up when you unlock.

Im also currently having an interesting issue (waiting for Pete from LR to respond) apparently the genuine mats in the rear don't fit the 2014MY cars - so mine don't fit despite being brand new.
Could you let me know the results, I have bought the rubber mats from my dealer and have the same problem.
Thanks.
Oh and the nav nag screen does go away after a few seconds.

Hi Michael,
I have replied to your PM, please see your inbox
Many thanks,

Michael,
Without wishing to pry, it would be interesting to know if the PM was about the matts. I have a MY13 car and the genuine mats don't fit that, either. Perhaps some biff at the factory put the lugs in the wrong place on the carpets, but it seems to be that they aren't compatible. I can't see that they'd have addressed this for the MY14, although I'm damn sure they should.
I'm thinking of changing to the HSE, but can't stretch to the Lux. I thought mood lighting was there, to be honest.
Lastly, can you pleaese confirm your colour? It looks great. I'm thinking black again, but am swayed by your grey.
Thanks.PAGODA

Yes, im sure Pete wont mind - the PM was about the Mats, yes they don't fit - but yes they should. Pete has made contact with my dealer, apparently there is a dealer action to fix this problem (my dealer is good and openly said about the mat issue so didn't know about any fix). Hopefully they have been educated and will be fixing it. As I said, its very poor for the genuine mats to not fit etc etc
Mood lighting, if its there, I cant find it - its not like the sports for sure. Personally im not bothered, its ok in an evoque, poor in the new sport and I have no real desire to have it either way.
Tyre Pressure monitoring - that is definitely there, I get a TPMS message...not worked out how to change the load or see the actual pressures yet.
As for the HSE or HSE lux. The Disco HSE Lux is about the same price as my 13MY sport. Personally, I can see little point on the lux and could confidently say I wouldn't buy it...adding the useful options to a HSE, remember there are still HSE Lux options to have anyway.
I might start another post, but can you D4 7 seat people share where you store the genuine accessories like the warning triangle. I have found where I think the towbar goes (annoyed it doesn't have the foam insert FFS!! but im lost, the sports etc all had a set space from the factory.
Remember not seen it not in the rain or dark for longer than 1hr! Mike

Re tow bar storage I actually took mine out as I figured I could store more in the cubby without it. The bar is wrapped in cloth and tucked in, warning triangle folding spade and numerous other things all slide in as well. Took care not to squash any wires etc... Both left and right are full of the bits I don't want sloshing round my boot!XC90 T8 R Design Pro

TPMS can be accessed through the Service Menu on the Driver Info Screen.
Turn power on, then press the OK button on the Steering Wheel and scroll down to Service Menu.
Option for TPMS, oil level etc will then be visible.

Thanks ill check out TPMS next time...
Eco Stop Start is beyond annoying - it now takes to turning off when manoeuvring the car into the drive/garage!!!!
I thought you might like the cool picture it projects:
and this one:
It doesn't have mood lights that I can see. Im not sure if you D4 people had cornering lights like the sport...this doesn't have them, or they aren't working!
It is amazingly smooth and quiet - im very sure more than the sport was - the front redesign really works in the flesh my wife (who didn't like discos) loves it...im actually becoming impressed.Mike

Thanks. As I said, the inability to fit the highly complex rubber mat system is not limited to your dealer. Marshall have struggled with this (and failed) with my last 2 cars. I wonder if the LR engagement will fix this...PAGODA

MSE, did you have to turn these on or activate them in some way. Mine either doesn't have them or I haven't found out how to work them yet.

The front is now definitely angled and not slab like the D3 - it had made it VERY RR now - have to admit I do like it.
Have Cornering lights/AFS on the D3, think all top end D3/D4 have had cornering lights and the AFS actually swivels the main lights as well (hence the start up sequence where my xenons have a little dance)
