Anyone using Nexen tyres?
Hi all, I'm due a change of tyres & it seems that the Scorpions aren't cutting it anymore with some of the site work I go to. My local tyre man stocks Nexen tyres but not having had these I'm a bit dubious about letting good money go on poor tyres when the Grabber at's seem to be the preferred weapon of choice here..... Any advice or previous experience of Nexen's would be appreciated.

If Scops don't work on your site then steer away from Nexon

General Grabber AT is still the most popular tyre we sell.
However if it's hard off road maybe the Goodyear Duratrac. Bit of a job to find but we are hoping for stock in next week.

Cheers lads, my next question will be... At /at2 /at3? I think I'm running 265? 60 18 as it's a d4 commercial, standard fitment wheels.

Andy, you should be receiving two defender rims and Mich tyres via BigDave this week I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I have Nexens on the back - they were half the price of a big name brand and have been fine so far (only 10000kms). But it's a road tyre so you'll need something chunkier for off road work.

Yeah, I've been told they're super cheap, I was looking at the Roadian AT Pro or the AT II...

I replaced my Nexans with AT's. Found the Nexans slid when taking a corner with a loaded trailer. The trailer pushed the rear on. AT,s have a slight road noise compared to the scorpions and Nexans but I'm more than happy with them. Got mine for £130 each fitted + vat MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

I had Nexen tyres on my old Punto, they were ok, but no way would I put them on my D4. Cheap and just about fit for purpose.
Curious - no-one recommends Nexen and most actively suggest an alternative, yet OP carries on with plan to fit them. Guess price is king for some...Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
