Car wash thingy

Does anyone remember an all in one thingy for washing cars that Halfords sold ? It was blue and green, you attached it to your hose and it had three settings : a soak setting, a suds spray setting and a fine mist filtered water setting. In this mucky weather I would like one again to keep my D4 nice and clean but I think they may be discontinued.

I bought one it went straight in the bin, I don't think it was intended to be man handled, alright in a pair of marigolds if your hands are the same size as an Umpa Lumpa ?
After the trigger bit fell off and the hose attachment snapped off it wasn't much use ?

I'm guessing you don't have a pressure washer ?
It may be worth investing in one ? But don't buy a Karcher look at nilfisk ? You only have to use it 6 times and it's paid for ?

A snow foam lance and some good car shampoo and an hour on the drive will have it gleaming, you could use some wash & wax by Karcher to apply via the hose gun once washed this will help it dry smear free ?

I've just washed mine and its gleaming and I didn't have to give illegals a penny of my hard earned cash ?

I've just ordered a Clarke jet wash to replace my Censored erd karcher (9000) model. Seemed good value as machine mart are having a vat free promo. Anyone any experience with them?

No not any experience of Clarke ?

I had 3 Karchers and this weekend it started leaking AGAIN !
Quick search on Google reveals that for the domestic market to get the prices down and to get lots of people to buy into the yellow pieces of $h!t they cheapened all the bits and made the pressure tanks from plastic !

Thud

Apparently NILFISK is the big name in pressure washers now and some infact most detailers are raving about them !
I bought one half price from screw fix from £150 to £75

KARCHERS appear to be the best for the industrial grade stuff but as I'm not into heavy industry their name is still Censored as far as I'm concerned

Yeah, I looked at the nilfisk in machine mart. Only went with the
Clarke as it had a 8m hose included which makes it easier to use without moving the actual unit which always seems to end up with the hoses and power leads getting tangled seemed pretty good for a reasonably priced machine £160) quite high powered, and weighs a ton, so hopefully not too many plastic bits
