I would really like to fit four 12 spoke 20 inch Discovery 4 Alloys from e.g a H S E Discovery 3 or 4 on m
2009 Disco.
They'd set the vehicle off nicely ... any thoughts on this from a driving or insurance point of view ?
I hear that L R have issued some new ones in the last 2 years but I suspect they will be pricey.
I don't want to fit R R Alloys but prefer to stay with Disco Wheels.
Any one any idea where I can get such 12 Spokes .... E Bay hasn't quite worked for me and I suppose I lean towards Disco Breaker yards.

Welcome Flinty.
I don't know how you use you Discovery, but I would avoid 20" wheels because of a harsher ride & lesser capability off-road.
Others will no doubt say otherwise - it's very much a matter of opinion.

So Flinty - there were NO 20" LR wheels for the D3, only for the RRS, RR & D4, so if you want 20's its going to have to be from one of those.
nothing wrong with Ebay, just do your homework, and double check with the buyer the specs/manufacturer/etc.
Quote a few of us run 20's from the RRS on D3 and D4 with varying specs of tyres, without any issues (apart from the ones we know about, like pre & post 07 chassis mods for running bigger tyres - see the wheels that fit/dont fit section)
Tell your insurer as you'll be running non standard alloys if you put 20's on a D3. Some dont mind, others add a bit to the premium - just check with your own insurer.
You can fit Grabber AT's or Cooper LTZ's on 20's, so just as capable off road.
