105K Service items required
Ok, some of you may already know this but for those that don't I'm NOT the most mechanical person to ever own a land Rover !
Don't get me wrong I know how they work roughly but I have NO interest in finding out and getting up to the eyeballs in finding out !
I have Zero patience and the concentration span of a hedgehog crossing a road !
I do like to look after my vehicles as best I can but for me that involves paying some one to do the graft who has the technical know how and ability.
So
105k service, I know the belts need changing !
I know from previous vehicles I've owned and from what I've read the water pump might as well be changed, same as the idler pulleys......... Aaaaannnddd now I'm lost,
My question is this, to those on here that I know will know the answer,
What do I need ?
What is the definitive list of parts I need to order from Nick to give to some one to conduct said job ?
Leaving no stone unturned everything replaced ?
Thanks guysOnly dead fish go with the Flow !

if you can manufacture the tools to undo the fan and r prepared to do the belts yourself using the 2 6mm drill method all is quite easy.Rear belt I bought but never bothered with as its not going to be terminal if it breaks but the front one will be.I found changing quite easy but I also bought the water pump too but it was good and driven by the outer belt so can be changed as and when.
Ifound my idlers were good but they were changed for obvious reasons.the outer belts self adjuster pulley was shot at the 75k miles as that was the milage covered at 7 years.
Oil and filter changes will b req' too.
A small torque wrench capable of the small torque setting on the bolt that holds the cam belt pulley adjuster is a must as this seems to be the weak link especially for 07/8 my's

Chalky in a similar boat to you .....
I had my old girl serviced and checked by the local Indy when she was bought ... 105k service wasnt done....
Still happy to get a to do check list as well ...
Bizarre thing is most of the parts are really reasonable ... we just need a 'guide' or a check and replace list ....
Does this help in any way ... at least its a list

If it's an '07,chalky ........latest design oil pump, front crankshaft oil seal, and crankshaft pulley bolt , I would add these to the list of usual cam belt components, and factor in some extra labour required
