Anyone know if it is possible to configure the display to show instant miles per gallon as opposed to average miles per gallon on a 08MY XS?

Believe me, you don't want to know - else you'll never touch the throttle again   Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

that does the business as regards MPG...is OK
if you keep resetiing it will update accordingly..its not far wrong (but exagerates the cars potential a bit..it ought to have a Pinnochio nose
the only fluked figure it has is:
- you have an auto box
- cruising at say 70mph....cruise control engaged
- filp from auto to command shift (will drop to 5th
- flip the lever forwards to get 6th...
- the display will jump up say 5mpg
this cant be right
My VW Golf has the average & instant display....average is very very accurate..the instant tell all sorts of daft figures...as they say around here "up & down like a whore's drawers" (aoplogies to any lady/female/not female but not male posters beforehand)
difficult to get this below 45mpg - even with my aggressive driving. BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
