Canadian DRL
Hi anyone know what the "Canadian DRL" setting on the IIDTool does
Is it a reduced high beam ?Peter

When I set mine as Canadian DRL's the normal dipped headlights came on as soon as the engine was started and the car taken out of "park" (ie. any gear or N,) regardless of the position of the light switch.
Mines a humble D3 not a D4 but I would assume the end result is the same.
I've put mine back to normal now as I prefer to control it myself.Clive

The rear lights are also on unlike Euro DRLsDisplaced Yorkshireman.

Are the normal dipped headlights at normal or reduced power ?

Not sure regarding D4 but on D3 the only other setting was Scandinavian which is all lights on with ignition.
Think Canadian is headlights on normal dip.Displaced Yorkshireman.

I think it was in the IID Tools manual; from memory, one the headlights comes on with the engine, whereas the other it comes on when D is engaged.

Canadian DRL is normal dipped beams with rear taillights on. On my LR3 and now LR4 at least..
