normal ride height only !!!! again |
|
Hi everyone, I hope i'm in the right place first of all !! I have been reading most of the topics on this wonderful topic fault etc, Approx 18 mts ago I had this problem on my disco 05 and it had a new compressor fitted and also a software update and this cured the wonderful problem. Now the problem has come back and 5 times out of 10 the fault shows up again on the dash, I am now wondering could it be a height sensor or something else ?? I would appreciate any help or suggestions as to what is the next stage to try, or is there anyone local who could plug it in to the box of tricks to see if any faults or codes show up, or is it another visit to the stealers !! , seriously any help would be appreciated

Sadly I am having these issues but in reverse to you... Had the disco just over 18 months fine untill six months ago when the fault first occurred with yellow light and normal mode only, a simple £40 height sensor cured this... It's been fine and then all of a sudden it's back in the last few weeks, I have a fault registering as osf corner valve, I took that as height sensor which is wrong it's something different, now I am on to trying a spare compressor my mates mate has and is that cures it ok then time to hand more money over :-/ sick of spending on this, £1350 in last few weeks but it's apart from suspension fault at full health! Rele nip to local garage I would say and just get it plugged in, if it's sensor it's a easy DIY job, best of luck mate and sorry for the long winded useless reply 👠just though I'd give you a response lol

Hi, thanks for the reply, sounds as if you are about as lucky as me. I read on here somewhere that owning a disco is a bit like being married to a beautiful model (you love her very much more than words can say,, but she keeps having affairs) she keeps promising never to go off again
