Nice bow wave DC
Villages on north and ne of plain all underwater today, it's just pouring off the plain and ridge other side, people were diverting up to red horn and lavingtonton perimeter rd to get round floods.
Coming back went down the bye way to Compton past the bustard pens, flood water water pouring down track again turning it into a fast flowing river. reached half way down and looked to be getting deeper, still. Getting quite dark too and solo by this time with kids.
Decided to stop and check depth, managed to climb on bank and hang off the barb wire fence and poke a Landrover umbrella in to check depth. Carried around 2years never used, but knew would come in handy one day
Looked to be about 6 inches above bottom door seals, so decided to proceed as reversing not really an option and nowhere to turn round. All ok as went shallower again after about 20 ft.
Track is about a mile long and completely under water, once in you are committed as the only turning point half way down has a big dip in it where the water gets much deeper and you are off the gravel trackD4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

I began to believe that no AT tyres existed in UK except General AT's.
Nowhere in Wiltshire stocks an AT tyre in this size.
Many tried to fob me off with a road tyre claiming it was AT
2 places promised on Duratracs, but failed to deliver the goods. ( Apparently back order until Feb now)
I thought the Coopers advertised was print mistake and meant to be 20 inch, but some research revealed 19's did exist, believe have only recently come to market.
Link below has the Coopers Blurb though as stated does not yet show 19 inch size.
I ran 18 inch Mickey Thomson STZ (owned by Cooper) on my old bus. These are very similar to the LTZs. I'm now a and run GGAT but these are not a patch on the STZs. As for AT tyres in Wiltshire, I use Corsham Tyres in Corsham. They seem to be able to get anything and always at good prices.

They look good Les
I know it's a bit early as you've only just fitted them, but how would you compare noise & mpg with the Pirelli ATR?
Really want a set of these but currently running Wranglers which are only 10K miles old. What's the second hand market like? What are they worth?

Tom
Noise on par, not sure on mpg yet, probably couple more weeks before I know that. Off roading and quite a few gravel tracks this week and that always hammers the mpg.
Skep, Would say you have no chance secondhand, only recently launched in this size, so not that many around new.D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

I meant what are my wranglers worth second hand! Wanting new Coopers but don't want to wait till my Wranglers are worn out, will probably be another 18 months!

Tyres by themselves are usually harder to shift, I would of thought maybe £50 - £60D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
