Driving abroad - light adjustment

Right, tried to swap over the headlight position using the lever in the back of the light. It requires a bit of messing around and I choose to take the grill off and remove the light cluster on one side because my hand is too large.

Unfortunately I was interrupted by a small child being violently ill and completely forgot which one I had done. So now I'm not sure if one side is set up for LHD and the other for RHD. Can someone tell me what the lever positions should be for the left and right lights when driving in the UK so I can work out which way the damned things should be right now.

Thanks for any consistent answers.

Evening. The thought of twiddling those fiddly bits of metal at the Crossing plus having vomiting child, happy days!

If my memory is right then it is up for the "see saw" lever, which effects another tab of metal to move down, this is for the UK. But to be honest there is not much change either way! Good luck and safe travels. 8)

So is that both levers in the up position for the UK and thus both in the down position for driving on the continent?

Yes, UP for UK, and DOWN for continent - see page 40 in the manual.

Also, you will need to change an option in your settings, can't remember where it is, but you need to let the car know which side of the road you will be driving.
Edit: Only if you have Auto High Beam.

Thanks for the info! I'm pretty sure I have them in a mixed position at the moment.
Already had the Auto-Highbeam set up for continental driving. (The adjustment is in the central menu accessed from the righthand steering wheel button).
