Bought mine from Shukers in Ludlow (also in Shrewsbury).
Bought all my Land Rover's from there and would heartily recommend them.

I bought mine from T.H. Whites in Wootton Bassett, Swindon. I've now bought 6 x Discoveries now from them and had them serviced there too. I would whole heartedly reccomend this dealership to anyone as their sales team and aftersales/service team have been superb.
To keep going back as I do, they are good. if they didn't perform miracles on servicing and the deals they do, I wouldn't keep going back!! But they are very nice are very knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicles and always make themselves available even for calls if I'm having any niggles etc...

I'll second that, Al. Although I STILL haven't ordered my D3 yet , my D2 came from TH White and they serviced it throughout its time with me. Paul in their Service Department is a top man!

Marshalls of Peterborough |
|
Better join in here. Bought my 'S' from Marshalls of Peterborough. Jo sales and Richard sales manager excellent and Gary general manager, new anyway before. Could not do enough and so far always supplied a car with tow bar when D3 in for something. Always have time to speak even if I just pop in.
Neil in service excellent, nothing too much trouble, fits repair or whatever in within no time. Coffee always offered and a brand new showroom and service centre to boot.

Hi Guy,
Paul is a scream but Martin the service manager is also.. All the personnel though are very nice and a pleasure to do business with. They have some wonderful technicians too hidden away in the back who really know their stuff.
The new MD at T.H. Whites is Nick Down who is execellent. I had a few foibles with my first D3, November build and with his help and assistance these were all ironed out in a timely and professional manner.
I couldn't reccomend T.H. Whites at Wootton Bassett highl;y enough.

Farnells in Bradford.
Excellent deal (Chris Prescott was the salesman) but absolutely nothing else I can comment on.
They're a small rather shabby-looking showroom business- none of that fancy smoked glass stuff. I'm not intending to go back to them for anything as they're too far for me to use for servicing etc.
Would heartily recommend for 10% discount though! Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles

Got my current Freelander from Farnells in Bradford...
I went to T. H. White in Wooton Basset for my D3 but they couldn't match the deal I am getting from Hartwells in Oxford. Probably won't be getting the D3 serviced at Hartwells though as I've not been over-impressed with their servicing of the Freelander so will probably try T.H. White even though they are a bit further away.

Guys, it would be nice to only be positive in this string, so name the good one, but not the ones you personally were not happy with. No negatives please.

I got mine through a national lease company, so they scoured the country and got it from Farnells in Guiseley. The car cam in a lorry to my house. The only time I have been back to them is for them to fit the tow bar that they forgot about. No complaints with them.
I take the car to Guy Salmon in Stockport for service, who are always courteous and have fixed all my issues eventually. Courtesy cars are difficult to get though. Their coffee is superb, as are their settee's
