BN,
I think the bad ones should be named... maybe, just maybe, someone is listening and the baddies will be 'asked' to change their attitudes towards customers spending a lot of money for what is essentially a mode of transport.
A customer votes with his feet. If you give crap CS then you don't deserve to be in business.

Am I a rarity - imported mine? Got mine from De Stefano's in Bromley, Kent. Was slowly moving towards buying from Stratstones in Wooburn Green, Bucks but they were really not keen to move on the price. De Stefano's were recommended in the Sunday Times by Adrian dawe as the best price at the time and were very helpful and delivered on time and price. Mind you Stratstones (local dealer) fitted the electrics for the tow bar at better price than De Stefano's were going to.

I cannot stop anyone naming obviously, but I hate problems. If the good ones are named, no problems and the bad ones will stand out in their lack of naming. Just my thoughts.

But Information is King...
If you know who to avoid then you can avoid them... better that than 'hey, you guys never said they were crap... but now I just spent £30K plus with them, thanks'
Be good to avoid that for our friends in listening mode on the forum.

On the other hand if we had a list of dealers our members were happy with, recommendation is much better

You must have dealt with the same chap I saw. To get a discount I tried all 3 local dealers (Exeter and Taunton) and chose Taunton for their best price and service. They've been terrific (car in a week) and would recommend. Exeter were quick to respond. I'd have to put Yeovil 3rd. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
