New features in 07 vs 05? |
|
I have an 05 LR3 V8 HSE, and am about to buy a new one.
Are there any small improvements? Has the negative camber tyre-wear indiucing issue been solved? Anything else?

Just check your tyres rgularly as the issue is caused by bush settle. When you notice uneaven wear get the dealer to do full four wheel alignment. If they don't say you will have to claim new tyres. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I am already on my third set of tires in 50,000 km. All paid for by LR/Dealer.
I hope my new LR3 will be better.

OK... so I bought a new LR3 (HSE V8 7-seater).
Truthfully, I would have preferred the Mercedes ML320CDI, but there were none available in Canada. Not unti lthe summer,. And for $70,000+, I do not feel like waiting for months.
Re the LR3 magically wearing out tyres: On the older ones, this needed a toe adjustment. I saw the tech bulletin. On the new ones, it's done.
