That was the first place I looked and quickly ruled out. I managed to create the pop noise without fully turn-to-lock the steering.
It feels like something is shifting in the front end.
I can reproduce the same noise / feel, IF I do a 4-wheel forward launch with the truck but the noise is not as loud.
Similarly I can reproduce it when I do threshold braking to dead-stop.

This may or may not help but it's worth checking to see if the bolts holding the lower arms in place are actually tightened correctly! I had the same issue after I had my front lower arms/rear upper arms done at a very well known LR specialist, after a week of knocking noise when braking I decided to check for myself that everything was tight before I launched a full on investigation (shelled out any more money!). Low and behold the N/S/F lower arm rear bolt was loose! I managed to get 4 full turns of the bolt before it was what I would call 'tight'. When I spoke to the specialist they blamed the 3rd party who had done the 4wheel alignment after the arms had been replaced. To say I wasn't happy was an understatement.
