New Tyre recommendations
Currently running Cooper Discoverer ATR (235-70-17). Been good in all conditions and still going strong even after at least 50k miles. However will be looking at changing in the new year.
So do I go for the same or look elsewhere. Views and opinions appreciated.
Cheers

I used Pirelli Scorpion Zero M+S on my 2005 TDV6 S (18" wheels) and now again have them fitted on my 2007 HSE (19" wheels). Some like them, some don't, apparently. All I know is they got me through the winter of 2010 in Scotland in deep snow and -12C on minor ungritted roads without any problems whatsoever. They are also quiet on the motorway. I don't do much green laning/off-roading and it may be All-Terrain tyres are better for that.Discovery 3 HSE Auto (2007)

Have a look at the General Grabber AT 265/65x17, straight on the rims and no rubbing.
Happy to quote you on any tyre for mail order.

Yeah giving the GG's some thought. Don't do masses of off road but I do venture out from time to time.
Will give you a shout when near the time

The tyre you need depends greatly on the kind of car you drive and the type of driving you do. If you drive short distances in and around town on the school run or to the local shops then economy and safety will be a primary concern when choosing a tyre. If you do a lot of motorway driving then low noise, comfort and fuel saving might be factors in helping you find the right tyre.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 265-60-18's Fitted few weeks back, so cannot talk for longevity yet, but on and Off road I have been really impressed so far.
Ran Khumo MT's on my Defender but they don't make the size I wanted for D3 They are Really Really Good aswell. Got 100 000km out of them if very rough terrain.------

The Coopers have been really good and have had a good 55k out of them. Will give the Khumo's a look though.
Need an all terrain as I do venture off road from time to time. Also for getting the tintent on and off slippery fields.
