another alooy + tyre question
Hi all,
I have the below alloys and want to change the tyres.
I currenty run the car on 275/40/20.
I want bigger profile on them hoping to get better handling on road and bigger confidence off road.
What is the bigger tyre i can get without causing any problems?
Is 280/50/20 ok????

I live in the country in Northern Ireland uneven roads is all we have, again no problems and I tend not to hang about, so if anything was going to happen it would have happened before now I would hope.
I wouldn't go any less than 50 on the profile and I wouldn't think a 295 would fit.
285/50/20 works fine for me it feels great on the road, I never noticed a big change from going from standard HSE wheels maybe a bit more road holding at the front.

I can sort the steering problem with steering stops but I'm worried about the auto gearbox.
I had not one single problem with the auto D3 and this combo with the spacers and it looked the
