Must aggree with James "hardly the crime of the century" and as for a D3 towing 5 tonnes, well I know for a fact that a D1 can legally tow 4.4 tonnes when the trailer has linked brakes rather than over run brakes. The D1 only had 111bhp when it left Solihul so a D3 with the right braking system, 5 tonnes no problem. Cheers Paul.K
