Phil Collins at Collins Tyre Services on Beith Road in Johnstone is where I go to for tyres for the Discos and the rest of the family's cars. Great business - family run. Friendly and helpful. Efficient. Competitive prices. Never had any problems nor any wheel damage - very important. Can't see past them really! 8)

Blackcircles on-line.
Good price and they show local fitters which you can chose from and include in the total cost. Blackcircles deliver the tyre to your fitter of choice (usually next day).
Turned out my local fitter couldn't do the tyre and fitting cheaper than Blackcircles, even though it was the same job.

Jim Williamson of Strathearn Tyres is only just out of hospital after an opp so you may not get to speak to him, top man who will do his best.
Camskill are very good on tyres but you still have to get them fitted, most indipendent tyre suppliers with do there best if you let them know what sort of deal is on the table.
I always think it best to try and stick local if you can, at least they will always be helpfull with punctures etc.

A very good view but it has to work both ways, the local guys need to offer decent and fair prices and word will soon get around. Its not only the shops that are feeling the pinch right now so we have to be offered the right prices. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I use Goodtread in Alness which is north of Inverness. They can supply virtually any tyre and their prices are always competitive and the service is top class. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

I got a great deal from Fort William Tyre Services (A mobile fitter who works from a big van so low overheads) for BFG AT's for my old D1.
Have not checked with him about D3 tyres.

Given black circles are based just down the road, you would think they would be the cheapest !
Bought my last set of tyres from Camskill and fitted locally (not black circles)! There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.
