Recovery points
The front recovery point doesn't look very substantial. Can't find a decent one on the back either. What do other people do for recovery points? I don't like using the tow bar for recovery

It is substantial, big time substantial. As is the loop under the cover in the rear bumper. Those are the proper recovery points.

Ah right. The back one under the cover. Obvious now. I was looking underneath a la Discovery 1.

Here's the front recovery point in use. It might be spot on for the job but doesn't guarantee an effortless recovery.

Note driver of the stuck car supervising the digging. The digger's car is the tow car.
