LED & Osram lighting upgrades
We have been adding to our range of LED upgrades and have just got a new selection into stock, because of lots of pre-orders I would also expect to run out of some references quickly with no more until the new year.
Osram Nightbreakers for your headlamps.
Osram DRL Kits to replace your foglamps.
A selection of interior light SMD or LED panels (they are all pretty bright, no softer options yet).
A front sidelamp with 50/50 SMDs - CANBUS compliant (again very white, more so than the headlamp)
Reverse lamps - 120 SMDs - Very bright!
Stop & Tail lamps for the D3 light unit - Twin filament 50/50 SMDs in RED
Rear Indicators - 127 SMD's in Amber - These will need resistors to stop your dash indicator running at double speed, we have some of those as well.
If you have suggestions of anything else to add to stock and particular colours (Kelvin rating) please suggest them. If there is a demand I will add them to the next order now I have found a decent supplier amongst so many others
The law -
Osram kit - all 100% street legal, upgrades are achieved without increasing wattage or indeed the strain on your wiring.
Osram LED Fogs are E-Marked so no issue with those.
Interior lights - No issue
Sidelamps - As long as they meet MOT regulations you will not have any issues with the present requirements. Must not flicker, must be white, that's about it.
We do have (because I was asked to stock them) HID conversions from H4 & H7 but these are not a street legal option so you fit these at your own risk.Paul Redding

Hi Steve, am looking at the stop/tail 380 LED, but dosent state if CAN BUS compliant, so assume you need resistors, but nothing stated ?
would be good if you did the 501 SMD bulbs, in white and red Graham

I await correction but don't think there are any issues with the stop/tail light. I will dig out one of my old light units later and test them.

Graham,
I've had 380s (from HIDS4U, mind) in my tail/brake lights for months now with no issues. No resistors required on those; only on the indicators.

I'm just sat here thinking exactly the same thing... We bought the Disco 3 for my wife to use as a daily driver and instead I'm spending most of my time in it and looking for stuff to change/upgrade

steve,
I need to change my headlight bulbs on my MY12 XS. the oem ones are useless. Ive changed them for the brighter H7 bulbs but they keep blowing - I must have gone though 10 dipped headlight bulbs in 12 months. Dealer cant find any issues , so can I upgrade to LED?? or something that's not going to keep blowing - I should have paid the extra and taken the magic light option when I bought the car Duncan

Just read the blurb I like the idea of them acting as cornering lights when indicating, I read that they will fit but the aperture needs letting out by about 5mm !
And it says unskilled which again suits my requirements
All I need to do now is give it a day or 3 to acclimatise to the price and I'll most likely jump on a pair if these as my Mrs car activates the fogs when she pulls on the drive and it's quite a nice featureOnly dead fish go with the Flow !

Hi Duncan
Increased wattage upgrade bulbs tend not to last as long, I have heard no issues with the Osrams though so may be worth a go, is your CCF set for the correct light type?
LED headlamps - Big no - they don't focus so it will be like having someone walk in front with a candle!Paul Redding

Yes all plugs into the existing fog connectors then you just need to splice into indicators and light circuits with the mini loom suppliedPaul Redding
