Can I Retrofit Heated Seats to D4 |
|
Tried searching this but only found reference to a D3. Is it possible to retrofit heated rear seats to a D4 XS MY12?

I was hoping that the wiring and possibly the pads might already in place but not connected . I would then just need to get the activation switches for the centre console. I suppose if it was that easy it would have been done many times before.
I don't want to get into taking covers off seats so will probably give this a miss.

Hi, was just reading your post about heated seats, how did u go on? Did u manage to get the heat part to work? Iv just fitted RRS 2012 electric seats to my disco 4 commercial, all the electrics work great, but was wondering about the heat bit! If the wiring was already there, thanks Matt

Hi, I'm afraid I gave up on the heated rear seats. I would still like to know if it's possible to do this so let me know if you manage to do it.

I suppose the most tricky part would be the switch wiring.
Have you looked behind the panel where the switches would be to see if the wiring is there for the switches ? TD4 Freelader ES
