Hi All
Got in my truck tonight to come home and the amber park break warning light stayed lit on the dash when I started the motor. The handbreak released ok and has driven home fine. Ive just cycled the handbreak on the drive a few times, again with no problems.
Just reset the ignition and the amber warning light has disappeared, again EPB working fine.....is this a sign that all is not well and impending doome associated with the EPB..
The truck has been suffering with an intermitant squeeling break for the past week, but put this down to a pad not retracting fully as it sounded like it was coming from the rear drivers side.
Any thoughts.....?

It's a brake. 
A small point admittedly but makes the search work much better. 
I too had exactly the same problem with exactly the same brake.
Best bet, service the park brake on the side that's causing you the problem, that may cure your issue.
Failing that and as happened in my case, I had to replace the caliper.  Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos

Recommend you investigate the squeal first of all. Sticking calliper pins/sliders seem to be a problem on the rears and your pads will wear unevenly, very rapidly, if not dealt with in a timely manner. You can buy a calliper pin/slider service kit here which will restore the calliper carriers to new again:

If you're feeling adventurous, you might want to stick the EPB in Service Mode, remove the EPB fuses, and clean and lubricate the EPB shoes (not the friction surfaces, of course).
Once you've put the disc back on, adjust the EPB correctly and (optionally) go through the EPB shoe bedding-in procedure. Adjusting the EPB is a bit fiddly if you've not done it before. Have confidence in what you're doing and consult Bodsy's Brake Bible here:

If it's still causing you problems, you need to get your fault codes read.
