Inspection prior to accepting new D4
After being massively let down by my dealer regarding our order for a new D4 it looks like we will finally be collecting a brand new 2015MY later this week and I am looking for any pointers on what to look for when I inspect the vehicle prior to accepting it.
I know a few have had issues with things such as poor paint finish in the door shuts and a dent in the roof (of an RRS). What else should I be looking for?
Given the grief we have had with the dealer I have told SWMBO that I will not be accepting the vehicle unless I am 100% satisfied with it.MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

Tyre pressures - delivery mileage come over-inflated to prevent flat spots.
All new cars I've had were bouncy down the motorway (my BMW tyres were 8 psi over).

Tell me about it!
If there are any more issues (which my sensible head says there will be) then I'm just going to do one.
I've laid it on thick that the vehicle needs to be as perfect as a £60k car should be. If not then my D3 and I will be gone.MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

Do not understand why accept something damaged for such amount having to go through so much hassle when you can refuse and return faulty goods worth 5 quid with no issues under act of goods and all

Check the chassis rails for signs of incorrect tying down mine had been poorly tied down and been bumped on the corner of the tail gate
Poorly painted and overspray on bumper lights and inside the car rejected it two days later wish I had looked closer
