Hennessey Hammocks
Anyone tried hammock camping.
For me, some of the best nights kip. Super fast set up / take down, very light and so much better in the rain. Two hammocks with decent size rain flys can be set up into a large awning for cooking etc.
Visiting my Sister in Oz in last February, myself, nephew and bro-in-law had 12 days in the out back.
Walking Uluru, The Olga's and Kings Canyon was unbelievable, but sleeping in a swag on the deck was not the best. Coming home I was determined to carry on camping, (oooh matron) but off the ground.
Here's a couple from warmer climbs...

Hi mac22
Me!!
I go basic camping quite a lot with my friends and we all use a hammock, even in winter
We've got the cheaper DD hammocks and once you set up your basher, its very cosy. They're brilliant! Best nights sleep ever. I prefer using them to tents!
Only problem is the agro of going for a late night loo break of getting in and out of your sleeping/bivy bag and hammock whilst trying to get your boots on!
