I fitted my Allisport intercooler a couple of days ago - very pleased with the results so far. Perfomance is great but I need to do some more miles to really judge the fuel consumption. The lag has basically gone and 30-70 seems to be the biggest improvement to me - and it wasn't slow to start with!
The strange thing is that I had a terrible job getting the IC in! I followed all the instructions and had everything off (chisel worked a treat on the scoop!) but even with the condenser pins out it didn't want to go in - it was catching on the towing eye. We carefully forced it in in the end.
I spoke to Andy at Allisport and he couldn't understand it either. All I can assume it that perhaps my towing eye sticks out further? Anybody got any ideas?
Just signed up to the de-cat pipe so fingers crossed for less trouble with that.

I expected it to be tight but I'd be suprised if they were all like this - I thought they would normally go in even without the radiator being pushed back.
