Just received a BAS FBH remote and have spent ages today trying to get the green wire to " click " into place in the FBH plug and had to admit defeat for today. I thought it was going to be so simple 
Will give it another go this weekend
I'm even beginning to think maybe the plug is faulty
Anyone else had this problem as all I keep reading is what a simple job it is. Mine is a MY 06, and I had to remove the redundant red wire first before fitting the BAS green wire. Did yours have the red wire fitted rock crawler? Someone may possibly have been there before you and left the remnants of the end fitting still in there.....just a possibility
