I have a Traxide SC80 - LR system and Optima Yellow Top second battery installed.
I seem to have fluctuation of voltage when I connect a Engel car fridge to this system, it shows by fluctuating display light levels of the info screen, radio screen and rough idleing of my TDV6.
If I stop (leave engine running) and disconnect the fridge the fluctuation continues and is also noticable with the interior lights also fluctuating.
If I stop and restart the vehicle without the fridge connected the fluctuating stops.

Ok rang Traxide,
First thing disconnect link between batteries.
Test all ok, fridge running, no fluctuation.
Next test will be on Optima Yellow Top - load test to check.
If it was the fridge why would the fluctuation continue when the fridge is disconnected when engine going and batteries linked?

Both batteries "A Ok"
Could not find any fault!
Went away for a short 3350 klm drive with Engle fridge plugged in without the problem ever showing itself again.

I know this a very old post but my d3 is doing the same thing after a new alternator was fitted. Did this issue come back?
