Looking for a front bumper, please help
I have a D3 2006 HSE which I love. I been looking for front and Rear bumper for a while now. I find it difficult to find what I'm looking for.
The ones I found are:
ARB australia
TRC offroad fr.o.m. Spain
Tactical 4x4 american
Lion parts German discovery parts
I don't like the ARB one. TRC are good but translation problem and the distance are a problem. Germqn lionparts is really expensive but the one I like most.
I am looking for a UK company that can and will make a front bumper and also a Rear one for me.
The last mail I sent was to TP4x4.
I also mailet with extreme4x4 but they couldn't help my. They had a detachable winch mount. Nice idea.
So what I'm looking for is something like the trcoffroads bumper with a winch or with a detachable mount. Good angles, steel and possibility to use the pdc (not a must). Recovery points.
Rear bumper in steel and pdc possibility.
If you Knowles someone that can make or is willing to make me a front and Rear bumper please get me in contact with that person.
Thanks for a fantastic forum.

I bought the TRC front and rear from Discoveryparts.de, I had a few complications during the process as the TRC took a while to build them and be satisfied with the end product, I know several orders were scraped due to not meeting the build quality. And the rear bumper became unavailable, so I was offered a Kaymar rear bumper at a good discount. The front TRC bumper did arrive in the end and is of a nice and solid construction, it comes with all parts needed to fit including a new washer bottle, only problem for the none spanner types would be it came with no distructions, however it is a simple fit and easily worked out if you are of mechanical mind. Overall I had good communication from the website owner (Peter) and the manufacturer of the TRC bumper, including his mate that spoke perfect English (making up for my lack of Spanish).

I have had a set of Rigid industry dually D2's sitting in a box along with the 10" light bar. The bar fitted nicely in the grill and the D2's found their way into the bumper, as the supplied lights meant I had to adapt the loom anyway, it made sense to put the D2's in and bin the normal ones. I will be back in the UK on sunday so will hopefully be on the Plains and get some good pics of them lighting up the whole of it.

Holy moly they're expensive 0_0...
Apart from being a bit tougher and looking god-damn freakin' awesome, is there any major advantage to these over a discrete winch mount?what is this life, if full of care?

well
improvement of front angles...
it is not discreet - meaning you'll be able to access your rope....
you may step on it...
and - it does look good
@Mash now that you've mentioned it I can see the 10" bar in the grill - nice!!!
What about MOT??some

The translation was my problem to. I have for the moment 3 places for a front bumper right now.
Swedish rindab sells ARB.
I recently started mailing with discovery-parts Germany which also is a translation problem for me. Yes, they look amazing but are expensive.
I been mailing with trc and they can give a price that is a lot cheaper then discovery-parts. We are taking over 350 euro or more.
I really like the look of both trc/discovery-parts, their own lionparts and also the trc.
Can get a ARB one for a resonable price but i' m not sure about the legal in heaving the tubular protection for pedestrians.
Lion parts and trc look mean with good angles. But I'm get more Bang for the buck in a ARB.
In a free world with all money I need I would by a Lion parts steel. Perhaps it should have a sort of a frame that you can take of when not offroading. Then you should have protection against trees, roos, elks, raindeer, wild hogs so they don't brand the front and cooler, lamps of the D3
Discovery-parts should be back to me after 2 dec for more info in the Lion parts and the trc for d3.
The pics on the trc are good but not on the lionparts which also is for the d3 (d4 on the pics). I want to know the difference between the two in protection, angles how much is reaching down etc.

MOT that is overrated Due to my Disco being registered in Guernsey, I am exempt MOT and our road tax is paid on fuel and not a yearly outlay.
If you notice that is why I get away with my black plates and silver numbers. You can't have any letters on a number plate eh.
All I have to do now is choose a nice winch for her, and the best thing is swmbo is ok with it all.
