What kind of play is acceptable for the lower serpentine belt tensioner.
The roller and bearing are fine but the play is from where it's bolted to the engine.
Bolt is tight of course and it works ok but i noticed the play when replacing the alternator and belt.
Any help would be appreciated. "I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it."

I noticed there was a tiny amount of front to back play (~3mm) when I replaced my alternator on Saturday, too. The roller bearing was fine but it sounds similar to yours. I didn't worry about it.
