N/S intercooler hose whistling?

N/S intercooler hose whistling?
I have a whistle generated under power, 1800 rpm upward under load, but at about 3500 rpm off load.
I have read several threads on options, cracked cross over, I hope not
. cracked manifold or gasket but also hoses splitting.
The main hose (the one that I know fails) I replaced with a silicone one 6 or so months ago, has anyone experience of the N/S one failing?
I ask as I hope this is what the problem is
