That's interesting about the intercooler cos when I got back to the car in the intermarche carpark the day before the bumper had been cracked and the bottom of it pulled forward as is some French idiot had reversed into me in the car park with a tow bar on and caught the underside of the bumper, pulling it forward - I'll have a look now if there's any damage to the IC.
That'll take a long time to find the right one...... [/b]Stew,

Have you found a fix for this problem??? I have the exact same problem as you, same fault codes as well. I find the engine cuts out and goes into 'limp mode' when you put it under heavy load either by flooring it or when you are going up a steep hill but if you just 'potter about' and don't push it the engine is ok.
I have just replaced the pump in the tank about a month a go and I also changed the fuel filter (genuine) at the same time. I am at a loss although I have a feeling the HP pump might be on its way out.(I hope not) JE Remap, De-cat, Blanked EGR's, Allisport intercooler, Samco intercooler hoses, D4 rear lights, A bar, Big spot lights, Front headlight guards, 20'' Stormer wheels,
IID Pro MV License - D3, D4 & RRS - Enabling, Updates, D4 & RRS Timed / Remote Climate, D4 Bluetooth fitting
PM me for details

I've had similar problems 4 or 5 times today when doing a 300 mile round trip to England. Had the discovery over a year now with no issues untill today. Driving along get to about 90 then "ding" engine fault shows up on dash and no special functions, little if any throttle and car starts to slow down, let off throttle completely for about 5 seconds dip the clutch and roll for say 100 yards then everything's back as if nothing's happened.

Plugged it into my snapon ethos today and pulled these faults:-
P02aa cylinder 5 balance-fuel trim at maximum limit
P121a cylinder balance? Injector restricted
P2290 injector control pressure too low
Was thinking plausible fuel filter but wouldn't mind a second opinion or if someone else has come across the same fault or fault codes.
Also egr valve codes but egrs are removed and blanked so those can be expected.

Was last changed when I bought it nearly a year ago.
The fuel level is low just now and it's done it again a couple of times think I might have some dodgey fuel
