I only use it if sitting in traffic, which is rare,to limit fumes entering the cabin

Very handy approaching vehicles on dusty outback roads. Keeps the dust out.
Also helps the car interior cool down much faster on hot days.
Holding the button in will lock it on until next start.

Peter not sure what you mean by timed recirculation ...you can have timed heating or cooling ..not sure why you would want to just recirculate Confused Smile

Hi DG
I was driving this morning and accidentally pushed a button on the heating and ventilation panel

The words " Timed Re Circulation On " poped up on the Sat Nav Screen

But all has been explained by Discotwinturbo and euangibson to me.

Reading the manual now iam home it says

Press for timed recirculation.
Note:
The time is automatically
determined to prevent glass mist.
Ambient air temperature and status of
the air conditioning sy
stem will affect
the time period.
•
Press and hold for latched
(continuous) recirculation.
Note:
Prolonged continuous use will
increase the risk of glass mist.
•
To cancel recircul
ation, press the
button again.

Cheers Thumbs Up I think I read it as possibly being in conjunction with the timed blip control thingy Smile
