Seem to remember reading it kicks in up to 9c now  ....something to do with emissions etc... "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Mine is going in next Tuesday as I'm sick of people telling me my engine is on fire...I'm getting frequent excessive smoking incidents and it has failed to fire on at least 2 occasions now ...whats more worrying is that it looks like the diesel has leaked from the unit into the engine bay  21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Yes I have ...I thought something was up when the remote I most commonly use was returning a fault signal so I paired it again by removing fuse 2 and then clicking the off button... which was fine ...but then when I called the FFBH to turn on it went through the "jet engine" start up routine but it failed twice in front of me. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Mine sounds like Saturn 5 taking off........looks of concern from some of the neighbours on the last couple of mornings.....on start up it's like Saturn 5 smoking then after 30 seconds or so goes clear but then sounds like a rocket taking off.... Neighbours appear to be running for cover.....
It's exactly like one of those mega fireworks getting ready for takeoff.......
My D3 one is silent in comparison....

Seem to remember someone saying that the D3 had a silencer fitted to the FBH but that the D4 does not, think Wiggs may have retro fitted one but ma be wrong MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
