Caravan insurance

Need to renew our caravan insurance and although we are members of the caravan club they have proved very expensive for insurance.
Just had a very reasonable quote through E & L and wondered if anyone had had any dealings with them.

Never dealt with them myself, but on the caravan forums they are one to avoid, reel you in with a low price then they adjust the price to suit there moods.

Go with Caravanguard, may not be the cheapest, but always cheaper for us than the CC and after our van disappeared in the night we had a brand new van on the drive within ten days, it would have been seven but we were using the payout to upgrade to a better spec.

You could try Coast Insurance and Drewe Insurance who both specialise in caravan insurance and both offer good products. As always you need to ensure your security meet their requirements.

Unfortunately as previously said, E & L have many bad reports.

Hi,
we are in the caravan club and have used them in the past for insurance and would still recommend them.
But this year we have gone with the caravan and camping club, very good quote and cover seems good, plus you don't have to be a member

Thumbs Up

Try Caravan Guard. I've used them for the past 3 years and they have been very good. Their security requirements are quite stringent but if you can meet them, you should benefit from low premiums. I had occasion to put them to the test once and they did OK by me Thumbs Up
